Chocolate wedding cakes, an unusual choice? But why should they be - I had a chocolate cake at my own wedding, though that was in America, where the tradition of fruit cakes for weddings is not quite so set in stone.

After choosing my own chocolate wedding cake, I was honoured to be asked to make these two very different styles of chocolate wedding cake for my brother and sisters' weddings. Please note, I am not a professional baker, confectioner or chef! There may be many steps in making a wedding cake which I could have done better to produce a more skilled and professional result.
