Chocolate Cakes for Weddings and Celebrations:
Find on Amazon.co.uk

The look, the smell and the taste of chocolate make it one of the most indulgent of foods, so it is hardly surprising that chocolate cakes have become such a popular choice for weddings and celebrations. The classic and contemporary designs range from the smooth, sleek, shiny, elegant and stylish look of dark chocolate to the pretty cakes adorned with creamy white chocolate curls.

Chocolate Cakes for Weddings and Celebrations is a unique book containing over 20 spectacular chocolate cakes from the simple one-tier to the more extravagant five-tier creations and amazing chocolate table centrepieces. The book also includes a wide range of chocolate cake coverings, from pure chocolate in dark, milk and white, to easy-to-use ganache and chocolate paste, so popular with sugarcrafters.

The various chocolate techniques are demonstrated in stunning step-by-step colour photography. Covering every skill level, from beginner to professional, this book is accessible to everyone on a chocolate adventure!

4. book cover The Silver Palate Cookbookby Julee Rosso, Sheila Lukins, Michael McLaughlin

Silver Palate Cookbook:
View on Amazon.co.uk

Original home of the fabulous Decadent Chocolate Cake, plus another one which they bafflingly claim is the best chocolate cake in the universe (Chocolate Hazelnut Cake) despite it being in the same book as the Decadent Chocolate Cake.

Also home to the chocolate fudge ice cream sauce we grew up referring to as 'cement', this book is mostly not about chocolate but has enough of these classic top quality recipes to more than make up for that :)

5. book cover The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Chocolate: with over 200 Recipesby Christine McFadden, Christine France
"Ultimate Encyclopedia of Chocolate" contains everything you need to know about chocolate; how to melt it, cook with it, choose it, analyze it, drink it and, most of all, enjoy it.
